You are viewing Cheat Codes for MLB 06 : The Show System : PSP Date Added : 2007-04-08 23:19:45 Views : 32574 Faster training hours To get more training hours faster in Career mode, do not sign long term contracts. Just sign one year contracts and do not renew after the season. Find a team that is weak in your position (or stay with your team) and go to spring training. If you are a position player, you will receive an extra 600 to 900 hours if you simulate, if you want more hours, play the games. You will make the team almost certainly. If did not make the team, you probably would have started the season in the minors regardless and not signing will not hurt you but only help. Ball is not catched by shortstop This is a glitch. After a play that ends with the first baseman having the ball, sometimes it happens that the player will throw the ball to the shortstop. The ball will then usuall go into the outfield. Change player skills Go to "Player Management", then to "View Roster". Select the player you want to power up or down. Press R or L until you see his "Pitching" or "Batting" attributes. The red area in all of the bars represents how skilled that player is in the category shown next to it. Press Left or Right to increase or decrease the skill. Editing in Season mode Normally, MLB '06 doesn't let you edit player names. But, thanks to a programming error, you can do so, at least in the season mode. For some reason, you're allowed to change the names of free agents. So, if you want to rename a fictional player to match his real-life self, release him into the free agent pool and then you'll be able to give him a name change. Not enough codes for you?
